BERTH’s Mental Wellness Workshop
In continued fulfillment of our mission to provide holistic wellness resources, BERTH successfully executed a Mental Wellness Workshop on October 25, 2025.
The event, facilitated by Certified Community Health Worker Reshona Benjamin, provided community members with evidence-based strategies for stress management and emotional resilience. Participant feedback highlighted the value of a safe, community-centered space for discussing mental well-being.
This workshop is a key component of BERTH’s integrated approach to building individual and community capacity, laying the groundwork for continued programming in this area.

Thanksgiving Turkey Shootout
A Slam Dunk for Community Spirit! 🦃🏀
The energy was electric at our Thanksgiving Turkey Shootout on November 21, 2025! We witnessed some incredible hoop skills and even more incredible community generosity.
After a fiercely friendly basketball shootout contest, we are thrilled to announce that we were able to bless three local families with holiday turkeys to ensure they have a joyful Thanksgiving meal.
A massive congratulations to our champion, who sank an impressive 22 baskets to clinch first place! The competition was so tight that our runner-up secured their win with a stellar 17 baskets in a tie-breaker round.
Thank you to every participant and supporter who made this event a heartwarming success. At BERTH, we believe in building community through action, and this was a perfect example of fun and fellowship making a direct impact.
